EPA pledges to implement planned initiatives, enhance capacity

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has pledged to continue working towards effective implementation of planned initiatives and enhancing the capacity of the authority for better environmental protection and regulatory management.

PESHAWAR, Aug 18 (APP): Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has pledged to continue working towards effective implementation of planned initiatives and enhancing the capacity of the authority for better environmental protection and regulatory management.
The pledge was made during a meeting held at the office of the Director General, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Director General EPA KP, Tariq Ali Khan in the chair.
The meeting was attended by all Regional Directors of EPA KP, including Director Northern Directorate Abbottabad, Director Southern Directorate Dera Ismail Khan, Director Malakand Directorate Swat, and Director Central Directorate Peshawar, along with the Assistant Director (Planning), EPA Headquarters Peshawar.
During the meeting, various important matters related to the strengthening and improvement of institutional performance were discussed in detail.
Key agenda items included progress on PC-I proposals, innovative interventions, establishment-related matters, capacity building of officers and staff, and future initiatives for enhancing the operational efficiency of the Agency.
The DG EPA emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts, strategic planning, and adoption of innovative approaches to further strengthen environmental governance and improve service delivery across the province.
