DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jun 16 (APP):District Police Officer (DPO) Dera Ismail Khan Ziauddin Ahmad and Deputy Commissioner Hikmatullah Khan on Tuesday visited various Imambargahs, congregation points, and procession routes in Dera City to review security and administrative arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram.
During the visit, the two officials conducted a detailed inspection of the security measures and logistical preparations in place for the upcoming religious observances. DSP City Malik Abid Iqbal, SHO Cantt Abdul Ghaffar, and DSB In-charge Nisar Khan also accompanied the delegation.
The officials assessed arrangements at key locations and received briefings from the concerned officers regarding security deployment, crowd management, and other administrative measures.
DPO Ziauddin Ahmad and Deputy Commissioner Hikmatullah Khan directed the relevant authorities to promptly address any identified issues and further strengthen security arrangements to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of Muharram events.
They reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety and security of citizens throughout Muharram-ul-Haram.
