KOHAT, Jun 9 (APP):The district administration officials have carried out inspections of public service facilities and market operations as part of efforts to improve service delivery and enforce government regulations.
Acting on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Kohat Muhammad Nawaz, Additional Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Ibrahim Khan visited the Service Delivery Centre in Kohat to assess public facilitation measures. During the visit, he reviewed operations at various service counters and spoke with citizens to evaluate the quality and efficiency of services being provided.
Khan examined procedures related to land records, including fards, mutations, and property registrations, and instructed the Tehsildar to ensure that applications and official matters are processed within the prescribed timeframe to improve public access to government services.
Separately, Additional Assistant Commissioner Gumbat, Syed Mukhtiar Shah inspected Billi Tang Bazaar, where he reviewed compliance with official price lists, sanitation standards, and overall market management.
The inspection covered vegetable and fruit vendors, tandoors, hotels, and other businesses.
The authorities removed temporary encroachments during the visit and directed the shopkeepers to maintain cleanliness and adhere strictly to government-approved prices.
