ISLAMABAD, Aug 7 (APP):Commissioner, Hazara Division, Shahidullah Khan here on Friday inaugurated the District Accounts office alongside provincial Lawmaker, Laiq Muhammad Khan, describing the facility as a major step toward improving public services and strengthening the district’s administrative system.
The inauguration took place during the commissioner’s official visit to Torghar and was attended by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Yasir Imran and other government officials.
Speaking at the ceremony, Shahidullah Khan said the establishment and relocation of the District Accounts Office to Torghar would significantly improve financial management and administrative efficiency in the district.
He said the move would enhance transparency in government financial affairs, strengthen institutional performance and help ensure the timely delivery of public services.
The commissioner praised the efforts of the departments and officials involved in completing the project and expressed confidence that the new office would provide substantial relief to the government employees and residents by eliminating the need to travel to other districts for financial and accounts-related services.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to expanding quality public services at the local level through similar development initiatives.
