Directorate Youth Affairs KP launches digital skills training for tribal youth

PESHAWAR, Aug 06 (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Directorate of Youth Affairs in collaboration with TTSK, has announced the launch of a one-week Digital Skills Training Program for talented youth from the Tribal Districts (Ex-FATA).

The initiative aims to equip young people with industry-relevant digital skills, enabling them to compete in the modern job market and seize emerging opportunities in the digital economy.

The training program will provide practical, hands-on instruction in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Graphic Designing and Video Editing.

Participants will gain valuable technical knowledge, strengthen their creative abilities and develop skills that can lead to employment, freelancing, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.

Director Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Abbas Khan Afridi said the provincial government is committed to empowering young people by providing access to quality training and innovative learning opportunities.

He stated that digital skills have become essential in today’s rapidly evolving world, and such initiatives will enable youth, particularly those from the Tribal Districts, to build sustainable careers and contribute to Pakistan’s digital transformation.

“The Directorate of Youth Affairs believes that investing in the skills of our youth is an investment in the future of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Through strategic partnerships, we will continue to create opportunities that prepare young people for the demands of the global digital economy,” Abbas Khan Afridi said.
