The commissioner inspected the District Complex under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s Good Governance Programme to review administrative performance, staff attendance, cleanliness and arrangements for facilitating the public.
He visited the offices of the Health, Education, Revenue, Excise and Taxation departments, the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) and the Regional Transport Authority, where he examined official records and checked staff attendance.
He also reviewed the facilities available to citizens and sought briefings from officials about departmental performance and ongoing activities.
The commissioner expressed satisfaction with staff attendance and cleanliness but emphasised that government offices must maintain discipline and provide services without unnecessary delays or inconvenience to the public.
He directed officers and staff to perform their duties responsibly, maintain hygienic working environments and give priority to public grievances, stressing that negligence in official duties would undermine the objectives of good governance.
