Commissioner Hazara reviews legal amendments to safeguard Galiyat’s environment and heritage
ABBOTTABAD, Jun 12 (APP):A high-level meeting chaired by Commissioner Hazara Division Fayyaz Ali Shah reviewed proposed amendments to relevant rules aimed at strengthening the protection of Galiyat’s natural environment, scenic beauty, and cultural heritage.
The meeting brought together senior officials including the Director General Galiyat Development Authority (GDA), Additional Secretary of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Department, Director Administration GDA, Member Board of Authority GDA, Secretary to the Commissioner Hazara, Assistant Commissioner (Poll/Dev) Hazara Division, and Assistant Commissioner (Rev/GA) Hazara Division.
During the meeting, participants discussed in detail the proposed legal changes and their expected impact on preserving the ecological balance, scenic landscape, and traditional character of the Galiyat region.
The participants reiterated their resolve to protect the region’s natural beauty and heritage and agreed to further examine the amendments before submitting final recommendations to the concerned authorities.
