The inauguration ceremony was held at the historic Shahi Bagh, where the chief minister marked the official commencement of the Rs. 1 billion initiative aimed at transforming the city’s existing green spaces.
The project has been structured into five distinct packages to streamline development activities and ensure the provision of modern civic facilities across all 34 parks.
Officials said the simultaneous launch signals the government’s commitment to accelerating urban renewal and enhancing recreational infrastructure for Peshawar’s residents.
The parks upgradation forms a key component of the broader Peshawar Revitalization Plan, which seeks to improve the city’s urban landscape and public amenities.
