DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Apr 16 (APP): The district police have arrested a man within hours of allegedly killing his sister over a domestic dispute and recovered the weapon used in the crime here in the limits of the Cantt police station on Thursday.
According to police spokesman, the accused, identified as Subhan Ullah, son of Muhammad Bilal and a resident of Basti Darkhan, allegedly shot his sister inside their home following a domestic dispute. DSP City Malik Abid Iqbal, along with SHO Cantt Arslan Khan Gandapur, led a swift operation that resulted in the suspect’s arrest within a few hours of the incident.
The police said the pistol used in the crime was also recovered. A case has been registered against the accused, who has been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway.
