BISE Malakand declares Matric results, Class 10 posts 92.67% pass rate

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Malakand (Chakdara) on Thursday announced the results of the annual Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations 2026, with Class 10 students achieving an overall pass percentage of 92.67, while the Class 9 pass rate stood at 77.37 percent.

MALAKAND, Aug 06 (APP): The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Malakand (Chakdara) on Thursday announced the results of the annual Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations 2026, with Class 10 students achieving an overall pass percentage of 92.67, while the Class 9 pass rate stood at 77.37 percent.
According to the results, 46,549 out of 60,162 candidates passed the SSC-I (Class 9) examination. The Science Group recorded a pass percentage of 77.82, while the Arts Group recorded 71.40 percent. In the SSC-II (Class 10) examination, 51,916 out of 56,022 candidates qualified, with the Science Group posting a 93.11 percent pass rate and the Arts Group recording 87.95 percent.
In the Science Group, Sawera Gul of Government Girls High School Tangi, Lower Dir, topped the board with 1,174 marks. Tooba Iman of SPS College Batkhela Campus secured second position with 1,162 marks, while Owais Ahmad of Government High School, Lower Dir, and Talha Dawood of the Higher Secondary School, University of Malakand, Chakdara, shared third position with 1,161 marks each.
In the Arts Group, Fatima Zahra of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Totakan, Malakand, clinched first position with 1,105 marks. Bilqees Ghani of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kambar, Lower Dir, secured second position with 1,101 marks, while private candidate Hafsa Shah from Lower Dir stood third with 1,091 marks.
The board congratulated the successful candidates and wished them continued success in their academic careers.
