Alkhidmat Foundation holds free eye camps, performs 84 cataract surgeries
PESHAWAR, Sep 29 (APP):Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in collaboration with the Bahraini charity Daar Ibn As-Sabeel, performed free cataract surgeries on 84 underprivileged patients from Charsadda and Mardan.
Free eye camps were held at Alkhidmat Hospital Charsadda and Alkhidmat Mishal Hospital Mardan for patients suffering from cataracts and severe vision problems. The patients also received free medicines and eyeglasses after their surgeries.
Khalid Waqas, President Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said providing basic healthcare to underserved and vulnerable communities was part of Alkhidmat’s mission.
He appreciated the support of donors and philanthropists and said the foundation would continue providing free healthcare services to deserving patients with their support.
