Administrator Dar-ul-Itfal seeks help from authorities

PESHAWAR, Jun 04 (APP): Administrator All Pakistan Women Association (APWA) Dar-ul-Itfal Peshawar, Yasmin Awan has called upon provincial government, social welfare department and Inspector General Police to take control of Dar-ul-Itfal and provide protection to orphans.
Addressing a press conference at Peshawar Press Club, she alleged that certain elements are interfering in the affairs of Dar-ul-Itfal for fulfilling their nefarious designs.
She alleged a mafia that firstly acquire two rooms in the center for social work is now trying to sell food and clothes of orphans. She said that the mafia is trying to take control of Dar-ul-Itfal and grab its land to construct a high rise.
“I am working as a administrator in Dar-ul-Itfal for the last 16 years and performing my duties in a transparent way”, she claimed and said that records and details of amount and assistance received by donors is kept properly. She also rejected allegations of corruption and said that I am doing my duty with honesty and dedication.
She also appealed authorities to look into the matter and provide protection to orphans that are being denied entry in Dar-ul-Itfal.
