Abbottabad Police Friday have finalized comprehensive security arrangements for the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) during a meeting chaired by SP Cantt Malik Muhammad Suleman Khan on the directives of DPO Abbottabad Haroon Ur Rashid Khan.

ABBOTTABAD, Jul 31 (APP):Abbottabad Police Friday have finalized comprehensive security arrangements for the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) during a meeting chaired by SP Cantt Malik Muhammad Suleman Khan on the directives of DPO Abbottabad Haroon Ur Rashid Khan.
The meeting was attended by DSPs, SHOs, relevant police officers, and organizers of Chehlum processions. Participants reviewed security measures for processions and religious gatherings (Majalis), procession routes, deployment of police personnel, traffic management, and contingency plans to effectively respond to any emergency.
Addressing the meeting, SP Cantt Malik Muhammad Suleman Khan directed officers to ensure foolproof security arrangements throughout the observance of Chehlum. He instructed them to maintain continuous monitoring of processions and Majalis, conduct search and sweep operations, enforce strict checking at entry and exit points, and utilize all available resources to maintain law and order.
He also directed police personnel to deal with the public in a courteous manner while remaining on high alert to promptly respond to any untoward incident.
