MIRPURKHAS, Oct 07 (APP):A large Gaza March on Tuesday was organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Mirpurkhas to protest against two years of ongoing Israeli aggression and genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
Thousands of participants, including women and children, marched through various main roads of the city, chanting slogans such as “Down with Israel,” “Our bond with Palestinians is La ilaha illallah,” “Labbaik Ya Aqsa,” and “Labbaik Ya Gaza.” The enthusiasm and passion of the citizens on the occasion were remarkable.
Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Mirpurkhas, Hafiz Salman Khalid, strongly condemned Israeli aggression, saying that Israel has turned Gaza into ruins over the past two years, resulting in thousands of innocent children and Palestinians being martyred, and hundreds of thousands injured.
However, he emphasized that Israel has failed to break the spirit and courage of the Palestinians and Hamas.
Other speakers, including Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Mirpurkhas Shakeel Ahmed, Faheem Haji Noor Elahi Mughal, and Zafar Iqbal Mujahid, also addressed the rally participants.
Speakers paid tribute to Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan leader Mushtaq Ahmed Khan for his courage and bravery, and for his efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians through a long sea voyage as part of the Global Flotilla mission. This gesture highlights the party’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause.
The Gaza Solidarity March in Mirpurkhas reflects the city’s solidarity with the Palestinian people, echoing similar protests held across Pakistan. Jamaat-e-Islami has been at the forefront of organizing these events, demonstrating widespread support for the Palestinian cause.
