MIRPUR (AJK), Oct 15 (APP):Commissioner Mirpur Division, Chaudhry Mukhtar Hussain, has said that after the great victory in May this year, the Indo-Pak war, Pakistan’s prestige was elevated the world over to a greater extent.
He expressed these views while addressing a Kashmir Digital Seminar as the chief guest here.
The commissioner added that in such circumstances, we had to put aside our political, social, personal, and group interests and take care of the sanctity, dignity, and dignity of the state.
He continued that spreading news about any incident without a valid probe and research caused irreparable damage to society, which could not be cured in centuries.
“We, as a responsible and dutiful nation, have to play our positive and constructive role in every walk of life. Only then can we take our dearest countrymen to greater heights”, he underlined.
The commissioner emphasised that journalists should perform their professional duties carefully by doing research before disseminating correct information to the masses.
” Honour of the people should be protected from breaking the dignity of nations and their mutual agreement”, he suggested, adding that enmity prevails over that nation if the unity and agreement of such a nation were disintegrated. “Allah Almighty has declared the unity of nations and the agreement of Muslims to be the greatest”, he underlined.
The seminar was also addressed by office bearers of the Jammu and Kashmir United Movement and others.
The commissioner appreciated the welfare and charitable services of Jammu and Kashmir United Movement,
He said that Azad Jammu Kashmir Information Minister Pir Mazhar Saeed and former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed were recently moving to Gaza through a joint float for the delivery of aid to starving, stricken, shelterless, innocent Palestinians.
“They were not going to fight there. There was no ammunition in their boats. They were going to feed the helpless humanity that was crying. But they were not allowed to go. This is not a small matter.
On the contrary, it is the duty of all of us who are working for human welfare here to strengthen their hands, stand with them in the work of goodness and kindness, and turn away from the work of evil and sin. In this regard, we, as civilised members of the society, should strengthen our hands and help in every possible way in the welfare work that Jammu and Kashmir United Movement has started”, the Commissioner emphasized.
