Mirpur district’s registered voters reach 4.11 lakh for AJK elections 2026

The total number of registered voters across the four AJK Legislative Assembly constituencies of Mirpur district has reached 411,000, according to the latest electoral rolls released for the scheduled July 27 Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) General Elections 2026.

MIRPUR (AJK), Jul 3 (APP): The total number of registered voters across the four AJK Legislative Assembly constituencies of Mirpur district has reached 411,000, according to the latest electoral rolls released for the scheduled July 27 Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) General Elections 2026.
Official voter statistics available to this APP AJK Correspondent on Friday show that the district’s electorate has reached 411,138, comprising 208,898 male voters and 202,240 female voters.
A total of 597 polling stations will be established across the district for the upcoming elections.According to the updated electoral data, LA-1 Mirpur-I has 105,174 voters, including 53,211 men and 51,963 women, with 139 polling stations.
LA-2 Mirpur-II has 99,585 voters, with 50,008 male voters and 49,577 female voters, and 135 polling stations have been allocated to the constituency.
LA-3 Mirpur-III has emerged as the largest constituency in the district, with 106,755 registered voters, including 54,607 men and 52,148 women, and will have 161 polling stations.
Meanwhile, LA-4 Mirpur-IV has 99,624 voters, comprising 51,072 male voters and 48,552 female voters, with authorities designating 162 polling stations for the constituency.
Election observers believe that the increase in voter registration is likely to intensify political campaigning across the district. Political parties have already begun refining their strategies to mobilize voters, and political activity is expected to gain further momentum as the elections draw closer, with the updated figures indicating growing electoral participation and setting the stage for a highly competitive contest in the 2026 AJK General Elections.
