Kashmiris mark Pakistan Day with passionate spirit, renew bond with Pakistan

MIRPUR, Mar 23 (APP): Kashmiris living on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) and across the world celebrated Pakistan Day with remarkable zeal and profound enthusiasm, reaffirming their enduring love for Pakistan. The day began peacefully with special prayers offered in mosques after Fajr, where worshippers prayed fervently for the safety, security, and prosperity of Pakistan, while also seeking early success in the just struggle for the liberation of Jammu and Kashmir.

Flag-hoisting ceremonies were held widely across cities and towns in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and both Pakistan and AJK flags were seen fluttering atop public and private buildings. Moreover, various social, political, and public organizations organized special events to mark the occasion, reflecting a vibrant display of unity and national spirit. In Mirpur and other major urban centres, ceremonies were conducted in a befitting manner, drawing participation from people belonging to all walks of life.

Speakers at these gatherings highlighted the historic significance of the day, recalling the Pakistan Movement led by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, while urging Kashmiris to remain steadfast in their resolve.
