MIRPUR, Sep 1 (APP): Kashmir-origin seasoned engineer Khawar Hanif has been promoted as Additional Director General (M&E) at the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), according to official sources. He was previously serving as Director (M&E) at NEPRA.
Engineer Khawar Hanif is the son of veteran Kashmiri educationist and former Registrar of the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Professor M. Hanif Khawaja. He is also the elder brother of Engineer Waqar Hanif, Executive Engineer in the AJK State Electricity Department.
His promotion to the senior position at NEPRA is being viewed as recognition of his professional experience and services in the power sector.
