Justice Sardar Liaqat appointed as Chief Justice of AJK HC

MIRPUR (AJK), Jun 11 (APP):Acting Chief Justice (CJ) of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) High Court Justice Sardar Liaqat Hussain has been appointed as permanent CJ of the AJK High Court, says an official notification issued in the State Metropolis on Wednesday.

Justice Sardar Liaqat Hussain, the most senior judge of the AJK High Court, was earlier performing as Acting Chief Justice of the AJK High Court.

He had taken over the charge of the office as Acting Chief Justice of the AJK HC  on Tuesday after taking the oath of his office on June 09, 2025.
