MIRPUR (AJK), Nov 6 (APP):The Jammu & Kashmir people inhabiting at both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) and rest of the world on Thursday observed the Jammu Martyrs anniversary to commemorate the supreme sacrifices of the lives given  by over 2.50 lakh Muslim residents  of Jammu city and in its outskirts on the day in 1947 while moving for migrating to the newly-born Muslims separate homeland,  Pakistan.
The day is observed every year by the Kashmiris to remember the  supreme sacrifices of lives rendered by those over 2.50 lakh inmates of Jammu including men, women, children and elderly Muslims who were mercilessly slaughtered by the armed Hindu gangsters including  the Indian occupying and  the dogra  military troops with the connivance of the dogra hindu fanatics, under a nefarious pre-planned conspiracy while they were proceeding for migrating to Pakistan near Jammu – Sialkot working boundary.
The day was observed by every native of internationally acknowledged Jammu Kashmiri state this year too with the renewal of the pledge to continue the successfully-going struggle for freedom of occupied Jammu and Kashmir from the Indian clutches  till the achievement of their globally-acknowledged birth right to self determination.
They vowed to continue their freedom-struggle with renewed resolve till last victory coupled with the heartfelt aspirations for the early peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue through grant of the right to self determination under the UN resolutions, required to be implemented without further loss of time.
            In Azad Jammu  Kashmir, the  special ceremonies including seminars and symposiums were held in various parts of AJK including the capital city of Muzaffarabad to pay glorious  tributes  to the Jammu martyrs,  gunned down by the armed Hindu fanatics including and dogra military men, this day 78 years ago in 1947.
Addressing these ceremonies, the speakers vowed to continue the mission of the martyrs of Jammu  till Kashmir freedom movement reached to its logical end by achieving  the globally-acknowledged legitimate right to self determination by the people of Jammu and Kashmir State through a free and fair plebiscite in line with the United Nations resolutions, pledged by the international community.
The Jammu Martyrs Day was marked in Azad Jammu & Kashmir with a mammoth ceremony hosted at the town halls in various  parts of Azad Jammu & Kashmir .
Paying rich tributes to the martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir, at special ceremony of the civil society held at the Mirpur-AJK Deputy Commissioner office complex chaired by ADC ( G) Raja Omer Tariq and SP  Mirpur Raja Nadeem  Arif. The speakers including  the ADC ( G) Raja Omer, Secretary  General  National Events Organizing Committee  Altaf Hameed Nizami and others said that the best way to pay rich tributes to the martyrs of Jammu was to follow their foot steps with the renewal of the pledge to continue the struggle for achievement of the birth right of self determination for reaching to the Kashmiris ultimate destination of Pakistan – for which the people of Jammu & Kashmir starting giving the supreme sacrifices of their lives.
The  speakers recalled that the people of Jammu & Kashmir had decided with firm stand to attach their destiny with Pakistan even before the emergence of the country through  unanimously approving July 19, 1947 historical resolution of accession of Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan in Srinagar.
