ISLAMABAD, Nov 17 (APP):The All Parties Hurriyat organized a condolence prayer meeting in Srinagar to honour the late Chaudhry Riyasat Ali, elder brother of Chaudhry Ghulam Rasool.
Hurriyat leaders and workers gathered in large numbers to pay tribute and support the bereaved family. The meeting was presided over by Hurriyat Secretary Information, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt.
Addressing the gathering, leaders highlighted the inevitability of death, citing the Quranic verse, “Every soul shall taste death.” They described life as temporary and the hereafter as the true destination, urging everyone to focus on good deeds and seek Allah’s pleasure.
The leaders expressed solidarity with the grieving family, praying that Allah grants the late Chaudhry Riyasat Ali a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, forgives his shortcomings, and blesses his grave with light and spaciousness. They also prayed for patience and reward for relatives and mourners.
The prayer meeting was attended by senior Hurriyat leaders including Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Altaf Hussain Wani, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Raja Shaheen, Syed Ijaz Rahmani, Javed Jahangir, Zahid Ashraf, Zahid Mujtaba, Syed Gulshan, Qazi Imran, Tanzir Ahmed, Chaudhry Abdul Aziz, Imtiaz Butt, Muhammad Asif, and others.
