MIRPUR, Jun 05 (APP):Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK ) President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has directed the management of the state-run Haveli Campus of the University of Poonch to dedicate all of its energies to improving the quality of education at Jamia Bagh besides addressing administrative affairs effectively, it was officially said.
The AJK President, who is also Chancellor of the public sector universities in AJK, was talking to the Director of the Haveli campus of the Poonch University, Prof Dr Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, who called on him at Jammu Kashmir House in the federal metropolis on Thursday, the AJK President’s office told APP late Thursday.
During the meeting, the duo discussed issues of mutual interest, with particular focus on enhancing the standard and quality of education in state-owned universities.
The President, on the occasion, gave an additional charge to Prof Dr Khawaja Farooq Ahmed as Vice Chancellor of Women’s University Bagh, the President’s office said.
