AJK- APHC General Secretary’s 21-year old son laid to rest

 ISLAMABAD, Oct 2 (APP): Farah-ur-Rehman, the 21-year-old only son of General Secretary of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) AJK-chapter Advocate Parvez Ahmad Shah, was laid to rest at the H-8 graveyard here on Thursday.

The deceased was laid to rest near the grave of his grandfather, late senior APHC-AJK leader Advocate Mushtaq Ahmed Wani.

He passed away after succumbing to injuries sustained in a road accident. He had been under intensive care at a local hospital for around two weeks prior to his demise.

A large number of people, including prominent Hurriyat leaders, political and religious figures from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, social activists, and citizens from various walks of life, attended the funeral, which was held at Jamia Masjid Abu Bakar Siddique (RA) in CBR Town.

On the occasion, Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Convener of the APHC, addressed the gathering and highlighted the philosophy of life and death.

Meanwhile, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in Srinagar, along with APHC-AJK leaders in Islamabad and AJK, in their separate statements, expressed profound grief and sorrow over the untimely demise.

They extended heartfelt condolences and deep sympathy to the bereaved family, praying for the highest place in Paradise for the departed soul, and for patience and strength to the family in this difficult hour.
