ISLAMABAD, Aug 7 (APP): Special Advisor to Prime Minster for National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddiqui on Sunday said that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan was living in a dream world, which was a national disaster.

He said being the head of a major opposition party, Imran Khan should have played a positive and effective role for the progress and prosperity of the country, but unfortunately he had been involved in ‘aimless’ protests for the last three and a half years. He had even no respect for the month of August, he added.

Irfan Siddiqui was talking to eminent social worker and PML-N leader Dr Jamal Nasir, who called on him with a delegation here.

He said the PTI chief was total disappointment for his followers as he could not come upto their expectations. His party’s government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was exposed because of its bad performance, he added.

Irfan Siddiqui said Imran Khan had opted for protests bypassing the Parliament and even opposition parties. Only one person, who was related to politics and democracy, and had took oath of loyalty to the British Queen, was supporting him.

He said in last six major election contests from 2013 to 2016 the people had reposed trust in the PML-N which proved that they knew the reality of the allegations and negative politics of PTI.

Dr Jamal Nasir and his delegation told Irfan Siddiqui that the
whole nation was united under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and would not allow any one to work on agenda against the development and prosperity.

On the occasion, Irfan Siddiqui presented his new book of columns “Column Kahani” to Naisr Jamal.
