Hurriyet forum expresses solidarity with Sajad’s family

ISLAMABAD, Dec 5 (APP): A delegation of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq-
led Hurriyet forum headed by Mukhtar Ahmad Waza visited Dooru in
Islamabad district of Indian occupied Kashmir to pay tributes to Sajad Ahmad Malik who was killed by Indian forces on Thursday.

According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), the delegation also conveyed the condolence message of the Hurriyet forum to the family and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

Mukhtar Ahmad Waza talking on the occasion demanded a fair
probe into the killing. He said that Sajad Ahmad Malik was a true
freedom fighter who played vital role in the ongoing uprising.

He said that Sajad spent seven years in jail and faced the
worst kind of torture during detention. “There is no doubt that
Sajad Ahmad Malik spent some time with a pro-India political party
just to save himself from the oppression but he was a true
freedom-lover whose contribution can’t be forgotten,” he added.

He said that Kashmiris had been killed, blinded, tortured,
humiliated and suppressed for last over seven decades just for
demanding their birthright to self-determination and would
continue their struggle till complete success.
