Hazara motorway will be completed in due course of time: Deputy Speaker

HAVELIAN, Aug 25 (APP): Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Murtaza Javed Abbassi said that civil work on Hazara motorway is continued with a rapid pace and it would be completed in due course of time.
Talking to media here Thursday he said that 118 Kilometer long Havelian to Thakot 2nd phase of Hazara motorway worth 136 billion rupees road project is a gift from Prime Minister for the masses of Hazara division and it would also be the gate way for China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Murtaza Javed Abbassi said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has fulfilled his promise of General election 2013 and initial work on Hazara motorway has been started, 70 percent work of leveling of soil and filling from Hassan Abdal to Havelian has also been completed.
Deputy Speaker stated that during the past two decades Hazara division was neglected by the ruling parties.
He said that on the special directives of PM they have initiated many mega projects in Hazara division including Burhan to Havelian Motorways, Havelian to Thakot motorway, Taxila to Haripur Khanpur road project, Mansehra Grid Station and many others.
Talking about dry port Deputy Speaker said that this mega project would create thousands of job opportunities in the region and will also develop the economy of the country.
