Youth Parliament of Uzbekistan, Ziya Forum Foundation establish cooperation

TASHKENT, Aug 06 (UzA/APP) : A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Youth Parliament at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ziyo Forum Foundation for the Development of Science and Education.
The document aims at forming an active civic position among young people, actively involving them in socio-political processes, as well as increasing legal awareness and democratic culture among young people.
The parties will cooperate in conducting educational and analytical events (workshops, forums, roundtables), supporting initiatives and innovative ideas of youth, preparation of media content on public policy issues, implementation of joint projects based on international grants, increasing youth participation in legislative initiatives, and public oversight.
In addition, working groups will be established within the framework of the memorandum to coordinate and evaluate joint projects. The memorandum became a significant step towards unlocking the potential of youth and forming an active and responsible generation.
