HANOI, Nov. 7 (Xinhua/APP): Vietnam collected about 8.73 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 328 million U.S. dollars) in taxes from foreign suppliers in the first nine months of 2025, Vietnam News Agency reported Thursday, citing Vietnam’s Department of Taxation.
The total e-commerce tax collections, including both domestic and foreign suppliers, reached 152 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 5.63 billion U.S. dollars) during the nine-month span, up 64 percent year-on-year.
As of the end of September, 176 foreign entities had registered, declared and paid taxes through the portal. Major names include Meta, Google, Netflix and TikTok, according to the report.
