Uzbekistan-US: Cooperation in the oil, gas sector expands

TASHKENT, Jan 23 (UzA/APP) :
A meeting was held between Abdugani Sanginov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Uzbekneftegaz JSC, and Ivo Bols, President for Europe and Africa at Air Products.
The parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects for further development of cooperation. Issues related to the implementation of joint projects and opportunities to expand collaboration in the oil and gas sector were also discussed. Particular attention was paid to strengthening the strategic partnership in the field of deep processing of natural gas.
In addition, aspects of ensuring the stable operation and technological support of the Uzbekistan GTL plant, the reliable operation of production equipment, and the timely supply of spare parts were reviewed in detail.
In conclusion, the parties confirmed their readiness to deepen cooperation in gas processing and expand their strategic partnership on other promising projects planned for implementation in Uzbekistan’s oil and gas industry.
