Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan expand cooperation in archival affairs

TASHKENT, July 17 (UzA/APP) : A presentation of the book-album “Uzbekistan – Azerbaijan relations in photographic documents” and an exhibition of archival documents on “Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan – two fraternal peoples” took place in Baku.
Director of the Uzarchive Agency Ulugbek Yusupov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, and representatives of the National Archive Department of Azerbaijan, attended the event.
The exhibition featured more than 50 photographic documents on the cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries from 1930 to 2023, stored in the National Archive of Film and Photographic Documents of Uzbekistan and the National Archive Department of Azerbaijan.
The exhibition also featured documents reflecting the mutual visits of the delegations from the two countries, as well as cooperation in economics, science, culture, and the arts.
