Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan strengthen cooperation in telecommunications

TASHKENT, Sept 26 (UzA/APP) : As part of ICT Week Uzbekistan 2025, currently taking place in Tashkent, an official meeting was held between representatives of the Republican Center for Management of Telecommunications Networks of Uzbekistan and the Kazakh company ATS Mediafon KZ.
The key topics of discussion included enhancing cooperation in the field of telecommunications network management and introducing advanced solutions in the area of banking anti-fraud systems.
Participants emphasized the importance of joint efforts in the context of the rapid development of digital technologies. They noted that an effective agreement would improve the level of cybersecurity and reliability of telecommunications services, while also protecting users from fraud and unlawful transactions.
Following the talks, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed, providing for the exchange of experiences, joint project development, and coordinated actions in combating banking fraud.
