UNSC warns Somalia of ‘critical’ period ahead following UN envoy’s expulsion

UNITED NATIONS, Jan 07 (APP):The United Nations Security Council has warned Somalia that 2019 will be “a critical year” for the east African nation as it reconstitutes itself after decades of conflict.
The warning came in the wake of the Somali Government’s decision last week to expel the head of the UN’s assistance mission, UNSOM, Nicholas Haysom.
