UNITED NATIONS, Jul 18 (APP):UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has described the late Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s first democratically-elected president, as an “extraordinary global advocate for dignity and equality” who anyone in public service should emulate.
Guterres paid his tributes to the iconic anti-apartheid campaigner in a message to mark the Nelson Mandela International Day commemorated annually on July 18.
