Turchin, Mishustin meet in Russia’s Gorno-Altaysk

GORNO-ALTAYSK, Jul 24 (BelTA/APP): Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin held a bilateral meeting in Gorno-Altaysk, Russia’s Republic of Altai, BelTA learned.

Aleksandr Turchin thanked his Russian counterpart for the invitation to take part in the international conference on ecology and environmental protection, which is running in Gorno-Altaysk these days.

The Belarusian prime minister also noted that despite all difficulties, Russia’s economy demonstrates remarkable stability.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin asked Aleksandr Turchin to convey warm greetings from Russian President Vladimir Putin and himself to Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko.

During the talks, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin emphasized his constant communication with Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin: “We’ve spoken several times just in the past two weeks. At the government level, in my view, we’ve established systemic work to implement the decisions made by our leaders. This work is primarily structured around key priorities to fulfill the Union State Treaty for 2024-2026,” Mikhail Mishustin stated.
