ISLAMABAD, Feb 07 (APP): President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a telegram of condolences to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif over the tragic consequences of a deadly terrorist act at a mosque in Islamabad, which resulted in the death and injury of a large number of people.
“I ask Almighty God for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased and wish all the injured a full recovery. Tajikistan, while strongly condemning this cruel terrorist act and, as always, all manifestations of terrorism, constantly emphasizes the need for relentless struggle against this evil,” said an official Facebook page of the Tajik President, shared with media by the President House Media Wing here on Saturday.

Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari, reciprocating, President Emomali Rahmon for his message of condolence and solidarity, said Pakistan valued Tajikistan’s clear stance against terrorism.
On X handle, the president further said, “We remain united in rejecting this evil and in honouring the innocent lives lost in this tragic attack.”
