MAKKAH AL MUKARRAMAH, June 30 (APP): A high-level delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on Monday visited the Pakistan Hajj Mission extending heartfelt appreciation and congratulations on the successful completion of Hajj 2025.
The Saudi officials lauded the exceptional arrangements and services provided to Pakistani pilgrims, describing them as a model of efficiency and dedication.
The visiting delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Abdulfattah bin Sulaiman Mashat, accompanied by Assistant Deputy Minister for Hajj Operations Eyad bin Ahmed Rahbini, and Director General of Hajj Affairs Dr. Badr Muhammad Al-Solami.
They were warmly received by Pakistan’s Director General Hajj, Abdul Wahab Soomro, Senior Joint Secretary Mirza Ali Mehmood, Chief Finance and Accounts Officer Zulfiqar Khan, and Director Hajj Makkah Aziz Ullah Khan.
In a cordial meeting, both sides underscored the importance of maintaining the same spirit of service, coordination, and teamwork for Hajj 2026, with a shared commitment to enhancing the facilities and experience for pilgrims.
Deputy Minister Dr. Mashat praised the professional capabilities and sincere efforts of the Pakistan Hajj Mission, describing its organization and initiatives as “exemplary and worthy of recognition.” He also congratulated Abdul Wahab Soomro on receiving the prestigious Labbaitam Award, acknowledging the Mission’s outstanding performance under his leadership.
In response, Abdul Wahab Soomro expressed gratitude for the Saudi delegation’s visit, emphasizing the vital role played by the Saudi Ministry’s continued guidance and cooperation in ensuring the smooth execution of Hajj operations. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening the partnership for future pilgrimages.
The visit concluded with a ceremonial presentation of a commemorative shield by Abdul Wahab Soomro to the distinguished guests, symbolizing mutual respect and the enduring spirit of collaboration in facilitating the sacred journey for pilgrims.
