ISLAMABAD, Nov 13 (APP): The “Global Harmony 2” festival in Riyadh is celebrating the vibrant spirit of Bangladesh this week, drawing thousands of visitors to Suwaidi Park.

Organized by the Ministry of Media in partnership with the General Entertainment Authority, the event is part of Saudi Arabia’s Quality of Life Program under Vision 2030, promoting cultural diversity and community engagement, according to SPA.

The ongoing “Global Harmony 2” initiative aims to showcase world cultures through a series of themed celebrations in the capital. The current spotlight on Bangladesh offers residents and visitors a glimpse into the country’s traditions, art, and everyday life. Members of the Bangladeshi community across Saudi Arabia have joined hands to represent their culture through live performances, crafts, and interactive displays.

The second day of the festival featured a range of performances, from traditional folk music and dance to modern artistic displays. Local and Bangladeshi artists shared the stage with influencers and entertainers, creating an immersive cultural experience for the audience.

The day began with a lively circus act, followed by a DJ session and dance performances inspired by Bangladeshi heritage.

Suwaidi Park, transformed into a hub of cultural exchange, continues to attract families and visitors from different backgrounds. The venue offers activities for all age groups, including children’s shows, creative workshops, and recreational areas.

The event’s family-friendly setup encourages participation and learning through interactive cultural experiences.

According to the organizers, the aim of the initiative is to strengthen cross-cultural understanding and highlight Riyadh’s growing role as a center of global cultural exchange.

The “Community Days” program, under which these events are held, celebrates international cultures through daily performances, exhibitions, and entertainment activities.

The ongoing series features over 90 international artists and 100 professional performers who bring their traditions to life through music, dance, and storytelling. Each themed event offers an opportunity for residents and visitors to experience different cultures firsthand, reinforcing the message of unity and coexistence.

As “Global Harmony 2” continues, upcoming segments will spotlight other countries and communities, giving Riyadh’s residents a chance to explore global traditions within their own city. The initiative not only celebrates cultural diversity but also reflects the Kingdom’s broader vision of promoting social inclusion and enhancing the quality of life through entertainment and community engagement.
