Pro-India politicians term as power hungry people: Ali Gilani

ISLAMABAD, Nov 24 (APP): The veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, terming the statements of pro-India political parties on the friendly relationship between Pakistan and India as eyewash, has said that they are doing so to befool the Kashmiri people.
According to Kashmir Media service , Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the pro-India politicians were power hungry people and
their only and most important goal had always been the power and the chair for which they could go to any extent. He urged the people not to be carried away by their statements.
The veteran leader maintained that pro-India politicians were the real
enemies of the Kashmiri people and were responsible for the prolonging of
their slavery. Since 1947, Kashmiris have witnessed bloodshed, massacres and
barbarism at the hands of Indian forces and there is no let up in these
miseries till date, he stated.
On dialogue with India, Syed Ali Gilani said, “We believe that disputes
and issues are at last resolved through dialogue, not wars. But until India
accepts the disputed nature of Kashmir and shuns its integral part rhetoric,
the dialogue with it is a meaningless exercise.”
Paying glowing tributes to the three youth who were martyred by Indian
troops in Siligam area of Islamabad district, the veteran leader said that the Kashmiri youth were giving great sacrifices for the pious cause of Kashmir’s freedom from Indian occupation. “To honour their sacrifices, we should remain steadfast in our struggle for right to self-determination,” he added.
