President Mamnoon, Turkish PM agree to boost bilateral cooperation in diverse areas

ISTANBUL, Apr 14 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain and Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu Thursday agreed to enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey in diverse areas including defense, economy, energy, infrastructure and science and technology.

President Mamnoon Hussain and the Turkish Prime Minister who met here on the sidelines of the 13th Islamic Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) said terrorism was a huge threat and there was a need to have a joint strategy to tackle this menace.

They were unanimous in the view that the countries from Islamic world should address their differences through talks.
