MADINA, May 23 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Tuesday left for Pakistan after the conclusion of his three-day visit to Saudi Arabia.
He was seen off at the King Abdulaziz Airbase by Governor Madina Prince Faisal Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz and senior Saudi and Pakistan Consulate officials.
The prime minister, while talking to the governor Madina, said relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were time-tested and had grown with the passage of time.
He said Pakistan valued its ties with Saudi Arabia and wished to take them to new heights.
We highly regard the friendship with Pakistan. It is a brotherly country with deep historical ties and shared values, the governor said.
The governor said Pakistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoy very friendly and brotherly relations since the independence of Pakistan. These relations have grown and strengthened with time.
He lauded the role of Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.
The prime minister arrived in Madina Munawarah on Monday to pay his respects at Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH).
He offered prayers at Masjid-e-Nabvi and Nawafil at Riadh-ul-Jannah.
