UNITED NATIONS, Sep.21 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Wednesday said turmoil was intensifying in the Middle East and called for urgent international efforts to defeat Daesh.
Addressing the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly, he
said, to defeat Daesh, it was essential to reconcile the divergent objectives and priorities of regional and external powers.
The Prime Minister said peace could not be built when
injustice prevails, adding, the long festering tragedy of Palestine demands a determined action by the international community.
