Pakistan’s envoy to US meets American lawmakers and community members in Detriot

DETRIOT, Michigan, May 1 (APP): Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Jalil Abbas Jilani, conferred with both Democratic and Republican lawmakers as well as members of the Pakistani community during a day long visit to Detriot in the US State of Michighan.

The Ambassador met Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow, a member of Senate’s Agriculture, Finance, Energy and Budget Committee, and briefed her about Pakistan’s potential in agriculture, energy, mining, gems, infrastructure, IT and telecom sectors as the geo economic hub of Asia, saying the under tapped Pakistani market should be explored, according to a press release.

Ambassaodor Jilani also underscored the role of the Pakistani American community in the development of Michigan.
