Tunis, Jul 7 (TAP/APP): Some 6,063 candidates for the General Middle School Diploma (9th grade) exam have been assigned to the various pilot high schools nationwide, whose reception capacity, previously announced by the Ministry of Education, stands at 3,750 for the 2026-2027 academic year.
According to figures published on Thursday afternoon on the Ministry of Education’s official page, out of 32,035 candidates registered for the General Middle School Diploma exam, 25,301 were present, 16,182 passed (63.96%), and 6,063 were assigned to the pilot high schools.

Student Tasnim Cherif, from the Hay El Manara Pilot Middle School in South Gabes, has come first at the national level with an average of 19.21/20.

As for the Technical Middle School Diploma exam, the success rate stands at 68.29%.
Out of 203 registered candidates, 164 were present and 112 passed.
Student Alaa Mansouri, from the Rades Technical Middle School, has come first at the national level with an average of 14.52/20.
