ISLAMABAD, Dec 19 (BelTA/APP):Belarusian President and Chairman of the Belarusian People’s Congress Aleksandr Lukashenko said the future well-being of the Belarusian people rests on each citizen and on unity in society.
President said while summarizing the results of the second session of the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress on 19 December, BelTA has learned.
“You, the delegates of the Belarusian People’s Congress, are the ones to carry out today’s decisions. We have everything for this: experience, knowledge, indisputable authority, and, most importantly, the trust of citizens.
It is important not only to explain the adopted documents but also to unite and mobilize people to implement the planned tasks. To convince them of the main thing: how we will live tomorrow depends on each of us and on our unity. If we are united and cohesive, we will be strong, and if we are strong, the country will be peaceful and prosperous,” the president said.
