ISLAMABAD, March 30 (APP): US President Barack Obama Wednesday said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Pakistan had shown great progress in the war against terrorism. President Obama, who phoned the Prime Minister to extend condolences on the Lahore tragedy, said the United States acknowledged and appreciated his (Nawaz Sharif’s) leadership in the anti terror effort and believed that Pakistan would succeed in this war. According to a press release issued by the PM’s Media Office here, the US President extended condolences on behalf of the people of United States on the Lahore tragedy and requested the Prime Minister to convey his feelings to the affected families.
