Riyadh, Nov 27 (SPA/APP): The Ministry of Interior has prioritized artificial intelligence and big data analytics technologies to shape the future of service quality, security, and environmental sustainability.
This journey is based on technological innovation, integration, speed, and accuracy, managing human density through crowd flow analysis and congestion prediction, providing multilingual guidance services, and leveraging big data to anticipate needs and efficiently allocate human and technological resources.
The Ministry of Interior is working to provide AI-based solutions that have revolutionized service management, reduced crime, and improved the environment. This makes the journey for citizens, residents, and visitors more seamless and efficient, ensuring that Saudi Arabia remains a global model for harnessing technology to serve humanity. Saudi Arabia boasts a command and control center equipped with advanced real-time data analysis technologies, enabling a rapid and accurate response to any developments related to crowd management, security and safety, or providing services to pilgrims and Umrah performers, in close collaboration with various government sectors.
The Ministry of Interior’s initiatives were particularly evident during the largest gathering of crowds, simplifying the entry process for pilgrims through the “Smart Path,” implemented by the General Directorate of Passports. This system allows for smooth passage, quick and accurate verification of entry, reduced waiting times, and an enhanced overall experience – a unique global model.
The Ministry has also established unified data, a strategic step towards strengthening integration between different systems. This facilitates accurate decision-making based on comprehensive insights, contributing to increased operational efficiency and improved service quality.
