Riyadh, Sep 15 (SPA/APP): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed on Sunday via videoconference a joint executive program with a civil society organization to provide care for orphans and their families in the states of Abuja and Borno, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The project aims to provide care and sustainable livelihood opportunities for the most vulnerable groups, including orphans and their internally displaced families, through the provision of monthly sponsorships for orphans, vocational and skills training programs for orphan families, as well as in-kind grants and equipment for small-scale projects such as kiosks and transport vehicles.
The initiative is expected to benefit 440 individuals and indirectly benefit 2,200 individuals.
This comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief programs implemented by the Kingdom, through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support orphans and improve their living conditions.
