Kashmir black day observed in Jakarta

ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP): Kashmir Black Day was observed in Jakarta
on Wednesday to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
The event held at a university was attended by a
large number of students, faculty members and intellectuals.
Ambassador Mohammad Aqil Nadeem, spoke in detail about the
Kashmir issue and gave details of the roots of conflict. He
appraised the participants about the efforts of the government and
people of Pakistan in support of Kashmiris right of self-determination.
Dr. Zahir Khan, Chairman, Kashmir Solidarity Forum, Indonesia,
explained to the Indonesian students, the history and principle of
partition of India and Pakistan.
Pakistan’s Defence Attache’ Colonel Muhammad Shahid Siddique
described how India occupied the Muslim majority state of Kashmir
and failed to honour the UN Resolution for holding plebiscite in
Kashmir. The speeches were followed by a lively questions and answers
session where Speakers explained various aspects of the struggle of
Kashmiris to get their right of self-determination.
