MINSK, Oct 2 (BelTA/APP): Minsk hosted the first INNOPROM. Belarus international industrial expo, which attracted over 14,000 international visitors from 24 countries in three days, the organizers of the event told BelTA.
The expo brought together 520 companies from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Its area at the Minsk International Exhibition Center BelExpo exceeded 20,000 square meters. The event saw participation from 73 Russian regions, with 23 of them showcasing their own stands.
The main plenary session titled as “Union of New Technologies: Сreating the Industry of the Future” took place on the first day, bringing together the heads of government of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan alongside the industry ministers of Iran and Cuba.
“The participants identified promising avenues for interregional collaboration. The discussion highlighted modern digital infrastructure, transport and unmanned systems, financial technology for export flexibility and investment growth, and industrial talent development within the now traditional format of the INNOPROM University,” the organizers said.
