Hurriyet leaders denounce killing of student in Held

ISLAMABAD, Nov 8 (APP): Veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani,
the All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, the
Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chief, Muhammad Yasin Malik and other Hurriyet leaders and organizations have strongly condemned cold-blooded murder of an innocent student, Gowhar Ahmed Dar, by Indian troops in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK).
Gowhar Ahmed Dar was killed, Saturday, when Indian troops fired
teargas shells on peaceful demonstrators at Zainakote in Srinagar.
The demonstrators were protesting against Indian Prime Minister,
Narendra Modi’s visit to the occupied territory, Kashmir Media
Service reported on Sunday.
Syed Ali Gilani, who is under house arrest in Srinagar, in a
statement expressed grief over the killing. He said, “It is a gift
of Indian Prime Minister Narinder Modi’s visit. The killing
of innocent people particularly teenage students has been a norm
and a tradition of Indian occupational forces in Jammu and
Kashmir.”
The veteran leader said that pro-India political parties,
particularly PDP, were directly responsible for the innocent
killings in Kashmir because they had always played the role of
advocates of Indian military occupation in Jammu and Kashmir.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, who is also under house arrest, in
a statement denounced in strong terms the brutal killing of
Gowhar Ahmed Dar. He said that on one hand, Indian Prime Minister,
Narendra Modi, and the puppet Chief Minister of the occupied
territory, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed, talked non-stop about empowering
youth of Kashmir, but on the other, trigger-happy Indian troops
missed no opportunity in spilling the innocent blood of
Kashmiri youth.
Yasin Malik, who is under illegal detention, in his statement
termed the killing as another crime committed by Modi-Mufti alliance.
He said that this was another gift given by these brutal killers
to the Kashmiris.
APHC leader, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, in a statement strongly denouncing the
brutal murder of Gowhar Ahmed Dar deplored that on one side, Indian Prime
Minister talked about humanity and democracy and on the other, Indian armed
forces continued to kill innocent Kashmiris.
The spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League, in a
statement in Srinagar said that the killing of innocent student had
exposed the real face of Indian rulers.
The High Court Bar Association of the occupied territory also
strongly condemned the killing of Gowhar Ahmed Dar.
